Chart notes
RUNAMILEINMYSHOES dueled from inside, fought inside a pair of rivals on the backstretch, dueled again with DORIE MILLER early on the far turn before clearing at the five-sixteenths marker, roused in upper stretch and stayed strong to the wire under left then right-handed urging. NOTHING IS FOREVER stalked the leaders from the rail, tipped two wide with a quarter mile remaining, took aim at the winner down the lane but had to settle for second best. DORIE MILLER dueled from outside to the far turn, failed to keep up with the winner midway around the bend, chased three wide outside NOTHING IS FOREVER turning for home and weakened in the stretch. BROADWAY VENUS stalked three wide around the clubhouse turn, moved up to challenge for the lead outside the top pair on the backstretch, dropped back around the far turn and had little left for the drive.
