Chart notes
FROG settled inside then moved to the two path on the backstretch, gained while tipped three wide around the bend, angled widest in upper stretch, rallied to the front at the sixteenth pole and drew clear. THIS NAME'S TAKEN was forwardly placed on the outside, bid four deep on the turn, led into the lane, showed the way into the final furlong, lost the lead and the crop at the sixteenth pole and stayed on to secure second. SENSATIONAL DREAM chased the top trio along the rail into the turn, got shuffled back behind STORMY ROUGE and tipped two wide into the clear at the quarter pole, angled out further in the lane and rallied to gain third. WITHOUT A POUT (IRE) chased outside a rival into the turn, shifted to the rail late on the bend, challenged from inside in upper stretch but flattened in the late stages. PAARL vied three deep up the backstretch and around the turn, drifted in and bumped MOLLY JENSEN at the eighth pole, then weakened in deep stretch. CINDYS BEACH HOUSE was off slow to begin, lacked early speed while racing a bit greenly up the backstretch, saved ground around the bend, steered out in the lane and passed tired rivals. MOLLY JENSEN fought between rivals to the top of the lane, got bumped and steadied when already starting to weaken at the eighth pole and was not persevered with in the late stages. STORMY ROUGE fought inside a pair of rivals to the turn, was trying to get out but kept in by David Cohen costing her momentum and placings around the bend, then faded in the drive. THERE WAS A STEWARDS' INQUIRY INVOLVING MOLLY JENSEN AND PAARL IN THE STRETCH RUN. FOLLOWING A REVIEW, THE STEWARDS RULED THAT PAARL DID DRIFT IN AND CAUSE MOLLY JENSEN TO STEADY AT THE EIGHTH POLE BUT UNANIMOUSLY RULED THAT THE INCIDENT DID NOT WARRANT A DISQUALIFICATION.
