EL ALACRAN had a nice set up all alone four deep on the outside watching the contesting trio battle up front, powered past with ease taking control at the three furlong marker, had a commanding advantage at the top of the lane, proved much the best and strolled in for the dominant score. HARPER CITY pressed the pace inside on the rail with two others, had to chased the runaway winner in vain through the turn, had no chance getting to the leader at the top of the stretch but nevertheless ran on stubbornly to the wire easily besting the rest for the runners up share. EXCHANGE DAY broke out on the start, co-trailed outside another at the half, could see the group around the bend, swung out widest in the seven path at the top of the land and had late energy to get up for the nod at the wire dueling for the show money outside. MILITARY FORCE was void of early foot sharing the bs k inside another at the half, lacked running room stuck behind foes at the five sixteenths pole, shifted four wide in upper stretch still having no luck finding a seam in upper stretch, finally got clear run leaving the furlong marker and had a solid late burst just missing inside in a photo for the third place share. GALVASTON stalked close the back outside horses, improved slightly going three to four around rivals on the turn, had a chance in the six path for a piece of the prize straightening out for home but faded in the final furlong. EXECUTIVE SEARCH had the fence while sitting in mid-division early on, had no room inside midturn u able to commence a rally, scraped paint turning for home and had no finish in tight inside runners in the stretch running. DISSECTOLOGIST was hard held fighting the riders restraint while between foes in mid-pack down the backside, had little progression between challengers around the oval and lacked a rally down the lane. HIGHLAND SOCIETY battled three deep outside for the lead down the backside, was outside rivals under encouragement trying to go after the front duo but making little headway on the turn, angled four wide at the top of the lane with runners on either side but weakened by the furlong marker. LEGAL ATTACK (GB) settled in midfield three deep outside foes, kept pace but was being scrubbed for more three wide around the bend, moved out to the five path at the top of the lane but could not get involved in the late running. CADFAEL vied between rivals down the backside up front, was hard ridden just off the fence u able to keep up to the lead two rivals around the bend, had little left for the drive and folded two wide between horses at the furlong marker.
