MADAM LEE saved ground while being allowed to settle, moved up to join the leaders nearing the half mile pole, took the lead nearing the quarter pole and drew off to win as much the best. MAYA'S WARRIOR vied with QUEEN GITA for the early lead while three-wide, was brushed by that one nearing the three-sixteenths pole, was unable to stay with the winner during the drive but finished well for second. QUEEN GITA hopped at the start then moved up to vie with MAYA'S WARRIOR for the lead while two-wide, drifted out to brush that one nearing the three-sixteenths pole and weakened.
