Chart notes
OPUS UNO sped clear and moved inside, challenged by SAUL ELLIOTT with a furlong remaining, lost command at the sixteenth pole, fought back and edged that rival for the victory. SAUL ELLIOTT stalked along the rail inside rivals, tipped out and launched a bid in upper stretch, put a head in front at the sixteenth pole but got edged in the final strides. ITALIO brushed with outer rival at the start, stalked three deep to the turn, ridden along three wide around the bend, took aim in upper stretch but flattened in the furlong grounds while retaining third. STAY FOR THE BOOM followed in range off the inside, bumped with A. P. AGAIN while chasing in the three path at the five-sixteenths pole, angled out a bit in upper stretch and lacked a bid. MARCOS PERFORMANCE raced up close between rivals, ridden along in the two path around the bend, got crowded and steadied at the top of the lane and weakened. VERY QUIET dropped back when climbing early, trailed five wide around the bend and failed to menace. A. P. AGAIN was off slow and brushed with inner rival, moved into striking distance out wide, raced in the four path while bumping with STAY FOR THE BROOM at the five-sixteenths pole and weakened in the drive.
