Chart notes
MIGHTY MURPHY disputed the early pace three deep, took command along the backstretch and set a decent pace into the turn, kicked clear to upper stretch then held sway into the final furlong, felt a bit of pressure late from the oncoming runner-up and kept to task in the final sixteenth. G SPEEDY rated off of the early pace, angled off of the rail and stalked the pace three wide heading to the quarter marker, chased MIGHTY MURPHY into the stretch, was gaining late, could not reel in the winner in the final sixteenth and was a clear second. GRAND JOKER vied for the early lead from between rivals, stalked the pace two wide into the turn then gave chase into the stretch, weakened in the drive but held for third at the wire. TRICKY TIGER settled off of the early pace, advanced three then four wide nearing the quarter marker, ran in pursuit into the stretch, could not muster the needed late response and finished evenly. GEMSTONE WARRIOR settled off of the early pace, advanced two wide and between runners nearing the quarter marker, chased from the rail to upper stretch, could not sustain his run to the final furlong and flattened out. CATALINA CREE chased the early pace three then two wide, ran in pursuit of the leaders heading to the quarter marker, lacked a response to upper stretch and gave way in the drive. DECISIVE PRIDE lacked early speed, saved ground into the turn and did not factor in the stretch drive. BLAZING TYREEK settled off of the early pace while not far back, tracked the moderate pace from the two path into the turn, could not keep pace to upper stretch and did not offer a late response.
