Chart notes
FASTER GATOR had the best speed from the break, went clear by a couple of lengths early, led the way through the turn, turned back a challenge by MY BUDDY B approaching the quarter pole, then held clear in the stretch under steady handling. MY BUDDY B tracked four-wide mid-pack through the early stages, moved up approaching the three-furlong pole to make a bid for the lead near the quarter pole but was rebuffed by the eventual winner, then chased that rival home well clear of the third finisher. RAINBOW'S PRIDE made a couple of tries at the pacesetter early, lost ground on the turn, then came back on under a drive to claim the third spot while finishing well behind the top pair. EDDIE M was in the middle of the pack into the turn, unable to quicken in the late stages, but was kept to task through the stretch. FIVEFIVE SIX CHAMP raced close-up four-wide down the backstretch, then got down to the rail for the run through the turn, struggled to keep pace leaving the three-furlong pole then tired in the stretch. TIMELESS BOUNTY was briefly close up, then dropped back to last before the turn, was under a full drive leaving the three-furlong pole, came six-wide into the stretch, but was unable to threaten.
