SHE'S FIRE took command steps away from the gate, set the pace through slow fractions on a comfortable lead, repelled challenger's bid nearing the quarter pole to kick away in upper stretch and held the closers safe by a diminsihing margin. CURLIN'S GIRL rated between rivals in mid-pack for the first half mile, rallied from four wide turning for home, was gaining steadily down the lane and failed to get passed the winner while taking the place on the head bob. YANKEE DOLLAR stalked the pace from the inside saving ground through the far turn, mounted a bid turning for home rallying in step with the runer-up and just missed for everything in a good effort. REIGERT GIRLS prompted the pace to the final turn, mounted a challenge on the turn, was repelled by the winner and ran-on evenly through the lane. OMIKAMI slow early to be the trailer and passed weaker rivals coming home. DELAYED raced mid-field to the three-eighths pole, rallied briefly on the bend and flattened out. DOROTEA DREAM raced in early contention and dropped to the rear posing no threat on the final turn.
