Chart notes
RYKA stalked pace outside to the half, then backed off going into the turn, came back on three-wide in the stretch, and wore that rival down in deep stretch. CAST YOUR SPELL broke well, secured the rail on the lead on the first turn, rated nicely to the far turn while getting mild pressure from RYKA early, then SWEET KYLIE late on the backstretch run, was still traveling well through the far turn, tried to open up at the top of the stretch but shortened strides late and was unable to last. SWEET KYLIE ducked in sharply at the start, then was rushed up, tracked three-wide early, made an early bid to go after CAST YOUR SPELL leaving the half, was unable to get past that one through the turn, then kept on to hold third. NAVA'S GOLD lost the path and took up when SWEET KYLIE came over after the break, settled well back early, then ran on some to improve while racing a bit greenly in the stretch. GRAY PERFECTION saved ground throughout and never threatened. ECHO VALLEY stumbled badly at the start, spotting the rest a head start, moved up to mid-pack but could not keep up in the late stages. JAC'S COCOABELLA was slow into stride but raced with the pack through the first turn then dropped far behind on the backstretch run, and was done early. DUNN'S RIVER was slow to begin, then caught three-wide into the clubhouse turn, chased to the far turn, and stopped.
