Chart notes
NIXON JOY (ARG) far behind early, circled his field with a powerful rally on the final turn and surged ahead in the final furlong. FLUFF THE PILLOW pursued loose pacesetter, took over on the final turn, widened then tired. GOLDEN PURCHASE moved just off the pace then flattened out in the stretch. NIMMO lagged far behind then offered some late energy. PAYNTER'S PRODIGY raced very wide down the backstretch and faltered. BOLD HOPPERTUNITY chased in mid-pack then proved empty in the stretch. TAKEMETOTHEMOON sprinted clear for half mile was finished on the final turn. SHOULDHAVEBEENGONE raced off the leaders inside and gave way. CHECKITUP dropped well behind and was never a factor. BATTER UP BUD broke slowest and lagged far behind. BULLET BREEZE moved briefly closer before half mile and stopped. HUMBLE JOE was ordered a late scratch at the gate on the advise of the track veterinarian.
