Chart notes
WESTERN FREEDOM bumped with outer rival at the start, raced up close behind the leader, saved ground through the turn, challenged from the fence midstretch and bested WINDS OF FREEDOM in the last sixteenth. WINDS OF FREEDOM bumped with inner rival in the beginning, showed the way with FAR WESTERN alongside, edged clear from that rival on the turn, challenged by WESTERN FREEDOM midstretch and was outfinished in the late stages. FAR WESTERN pressed the pace from outside to the turn, lost contact with the leader but remained close in the two path, finished willingly down the lane but could not find the needed late kick. PANUCO followed in range early, lost ground in the three path on the turn, then came back on with a mild rally to close the gap late. RUN ABBOUDY RUN got pinballed leaving the gate, raced outside a rival at the back of the pack, lost ground around the bend and weakened in the lane. UNBREAKABLE TRUST traveled on the inside at the rear, dropped back around the bend and had little left for the stretch run.
