Chart notes
BRIGANTE set the pace under pressure from HONEY'S CHOICE to the outside, maintained a short lead through the far turn, dueled into deep stretch and edged clear from the runner-up. HONEY'S CHOICE prompted the pace from outside, dueled into the final furlong, lost the crop past the sixteenth pole but had already started to yield to the winner and held second. KEAGMAN (IRE) stalked the top pair from the rail, steered out with a quarter mile remaining, spun three wide into the lane and finished willingly to earn third. AMERICAN KING tracked in the two path around the first turn, was ridden along through the far turn while eventually finding the rail, also finished willingly through the stretch and got outfinished for third. GREEN SCREEN settled in the two path, moved out three deep in the middle stages, gained three then four wide on the far turn but flattened down the stretch. RAGING INFERNO was rank into the first turn along the rail, saved ground through the far turn, had to wait when boxed in briefly at the three-sixteenths pole and could not rally once finding a clear path. WHYNOTANOTHERONE stumbled leaving the gate, trailed and had to alter out from behind RAGING INFERNO into the first turn, asked two wide around the second bend and could not make an impact. BORN TO ROCK stalked three wide around the clubhouse turn, came under a ride still in the three path on the second bend and weakened.
