Chart notes
BREEZERO had the rail position sitting in midfield down the backside, saved ground keeping pace with rivals around the bend, swung out widest gathering speed in upper stretch, was full of run extending her stride at the furlong pole and powered past outside in the late stages for the stretch running win. SINCLAIRITY travelled in mid-pack on the outside, ranged up three wide around foes on the turn, loomed menacingly four wide at the top of the lane, closed in smartly between horses at the furlong pole but was outkicked by the outside winner in deep stretch. CLAY SOLDIER was hustled early on emerging from the group to have a clear lead by the half, maintained a narrow advantage while shadowed outside through the bend, was holding on up top two wide in upper stretch but gave way grudgingly inside rivals late to be a clear third at the finish line. PARTY ON was five deep watching the loose leader in the beginning, tracked just outside by the half, moved in to force the issue at the five sixteenths pole to be in the mix three wide between foes straightening out for home, could not continue on late and faded in the final seventy yards to be a fringe player in the end. EMPTY GESTURE had a good spot watching the pacesetter inside in the second flight, kept a close eye on the engaged duo on the fence around the oval, skimmed the rail in with a chance turning for home but failed to fire in the final furlong. BIT OF MUSIC was slow into stride to share the rear inside a runner with a half mile still to go, made no progression off the fence throughout the turn, shifted to the four path at the top of the lane but could not pose a factor in the late running. RETAIL THERAPIST co-trailed on the outside at the half, took the short way around seeing the field on the turn and could not get involved just off the fence in the stretch drive.
