Chart notes
BIG LUCKY settled to race in the middle of the pack in the two path, made a three wide in the far turn to take command entering the stretch, drifted out in the stretch to bump GUT INSTINCT. GUT INSTINCT was unhurried at the start and raced off the pace, loomed boldly five wide in the far turn to enter the stretch dueling with BIG LUCKY but was bumped as they headed down the stretch. SOCK IT TO ME was bumped at the start, rated along the inside of the middle of the pack, angled out four wide entering the stretch to be up for show. ADMIRAL NELSON broke a bit outwardly before rushing to claim the early lead, held a comfortable lead until the quarter pole, gave way and faded. STICKY NOTE trailed for most, passed tired foe in the stretch. PICARO was bumped at the start, settled just behind the early pace, made no bid, retreated in the final furlong. STEWARD'S INQUIRY REGARDING THE STRETCH FOLLOWED BY A JOCKEY'S OBJECTION BY GUT INSTINCT ON BIG LUCKY RESULTED IN THE DISQUALIFICATION OF BIG LUCKY TO SECOND DUE TO INTERFERENCE IN THE STRETCH.
