Chart notes
COLONEL VARGO broke sharply to set a pressured pace from the two path, narrowly held off driving foes to secure the victory. DOCTOR WU was bumped at the start then bumped by OTIS OTIS OTIS shortly after the start, moved up to make a six wide bid at the top of the stretch to rally and come up just short. ERNIE'S MARTINI was bumped at the start then cascaded on by OTIS OTIS OTIS shortly after, settled in the middle of the pack, made a five wide bid entering the stretch and closed some ground before angling in towards the three path but could not finish closing. POPPY'S PRIDE was bumped shortly after the start when OTIS OTIS OTIS came in but was able to quickly move up to press the pace from the inside, faded in the final furlong. VALENTINE BUG bumped shortly after the start when OTIS OTIS OTIS came in, raced off the pace, made no impact. OTIS OTIS OTIS was a bid reluctant to load the starting gate, came over on inside foes shortly after the start and trailed soon after, gained position entering the stretch but weakened back to last. STEWARDS INQUIRY RESULTED IN NO CHANGE.
