Chart notes
DREAMING OF AUDREY got away well, raced close up between horses, dropped to the rail and put AUTISM COMPASSION in tight just past the three-furlong pole, quickly took command in upper stretch and drew away while drifting out under right-handed urging. GRACIE DANCE led the way early under mild pressure, tried to quicken away through the turn but picked up challengers inside and outside, was no match for the winner late, but kept to task and bested the rest to save the place. MALICED got bumped on the rebound by CHESS NOT CHECKERS, moved up four-wide through the clubhouse turn, then pressed the lead three-wide down the backstretch, loomed three-wide at the top stretch, and was outfinished. CHESS NOT CHECKERS got bumped at the start and raced two-deep at the back for the initial half-mile, but never far from the front, circled the field on the far turn to loom four-wide for the lead at the top of the stretch, then flattened out and was unable to threaten late. AUTISM COMPASSION got inside position on the first turn, raced close up to the halfway point, started to make a forward move going into the turn, but had no path, then took up sharply in traffic just past the three-furlong pole and was unable to recover. A NEW PEACE lost footing at the start, trailed throughout, and lacked a rally. BEAUTIFUL MANDATE ducked out at the start, then pressed the early pace to the far turn, weakened, and had nothing to offer in the stretch. THE JOCKEY ON #3 AUTISM COMPASSION LODGED A CLAIM OF FOUL AGAINST THE WINNER #4 DREAMING OF AUDREY, ALLEGING INTERFERENCE NEAR THE THREE-EIGHTHS POLE. AFTER A REVIEW, THE CLAIM WAS DISALLOWED AND THE ORIGINAL RESULTS MADE OFFICIAL.
