Chart notes
GRACE AND GLORY vied for the early lead then took command, sprinted clear in the opening furlong and set the pace into the turn, maintained a clear lead to the stretch while off of the rail, kept to task into the final furlong and held sway to the wire. QUICK RECOVERY disputed the early pace with GRACE AND GLORY, chased that rival along the backstretch then ran in pursuit into the turn, churned on three wide into the stretch, could not make headway on the winner into the final sixteenth and was second best. DATTTSAFANCYFOX lunged at the start and was off slowly, was unhurried in the early stages, saved ground to the turn then angled six to seven wide nearing the quarter marker, chased five wide to upper stretch and advanced at the furlong marker, could not muster a final response but ran on late to earn the show honors. TAKING CHARGE DESI tracked the early pace from inside of runners, saved ground into the turn and ran in pursuit to the quarter marker, maintained an inside path to the stretch and advanced at the furlong grounds, could not sustain that run to the final sixteenth and was outkicked late for third. COUNTLESS DREAMS settled off of the early pace while not far back, tracked three wide into the turn, gave chase four wide to upper stretch and did not mount a late response. MAGICGIRL was forwardly placed in the early going, tracked the pace four wide to the turn, ran in pursuit to the quarter marker then was shuffled back a bit between rivals into upper stretch, angled out at mid-stretch but could not find the needed response and weakened. SABELLE hopped at the start and was off slowly, shifted to the outside of runners along the backstretch, chased five wide into the turn, maintained a wide path to the stretch and did not factor in the late stages. GENERAL GINNY broke in the air and lost the jockey leaving the start, ran loose through the race, was caught following the race and walked off. THE STEWARDS CONDUCTED AN INQUIRY INTO THE START INVOLVING GENERAL GINNY AND DETERMINED THAT RUNNER CAUSED HER OWN ISSUES AT THE START, WOULD BE CONSIDERED A STARTER AND NO CHANGE WOULD BE MADE.
