Chart notes

HEZA PISTOL was forwardly placed early, settled inside just behind the pacesetters for the first half-mile, went to the lead at that point, opened up on the far turn under confident handling, then responded when roused in upper stretch and drew away under steady handling. HALEY'S DANTE bumped with CURIOUS CORN at the start, went four-wide through the first turn, then settled near the back, started to pass horses on the far turn, circled the field four-wide to loom at the top of the stretch, was no match for the winner but kept on for second, well clear of the next horse. CURIOUS CORN broke in and bumped with HALEY'S DRAMA at the start, settled mid-pack early, moved up closer to the pacesetters going into the far turn, got an inside run through the far turn, and was kept to task to hold third. SILVER IS A GIFT broke well and was one of the first into the clubhouse turn, set a pressured pace down the backstretch, then was overtaken by HEZA PISTOL at the half-mile pole, was unable to go with that one late on the far turn, and flattened out in the stretch. MOBIL MISSION settled near the back, then passed a few tired rivals in the stretch. LUCKY'S PRIZE veered outward at the start, then rushed up six-wide through the clubhouse turn, raced in the middle of the pack, then could not generate much of a late rally. HEIDI N SEEK was last into the first turn, moved up a bit heading down the backstretch, then was under a hard ride approaching the three-furlong pole and did not respond. MOMENT IN THE DARK got caught four-wide into the first turn, then angled out another path to escape the kickback, dropped to last and was never a factor from that point. DEW IT WITH CLASS raced close up four-wide to the far turn, then weakened and had nothing to offer in the stretch. DYNAMIC GIFT showed good speed from the start, was on the pace for a half-mile, then faded. Copyright 2026 Equibase Company LLC. All Rights Reserved.
