Chart notes
WILL E SUTTON steadied just after the start, then was unhurried early, settled near the back for the first half-mile, launched a bid from the three-furlong pole, then finished best in the stretch under strong handling and urging. DIGITAL FOOTPRINT settled at the back early, then produced a sustained rally on the far turn and bid about seven-wide into the stretch to get up into second, while never a threat to the winner. SUPPLY CHAIN raced in the middle of the strung out field, then moved in closer after passing the half-mile pole, went wide through the turn, then bid five-wide at the top of the stretch, finished well under steady handling and urging, and was just caught at the wire for second. AULD LANGE SYNE raced in mid-pack, then was steadily gaining ground in deep stretch while behind kept to task. AGNELLO'S DREAM raced in third position early, well behind the runaway leader, ranged up approaching the three-furlong pole, then took over the lead near the quarter pole but could not finish the task and was outfinished in the final yards. VINCENZINO off a step slow, settled two-wide near the back half of the field, then outfinished tired rivals. VERBIER tracked the runaway leader well ahead of the rest of the field, went to challenge for the lead after passing the half-mile pole, caught that leader at the three-furlong pole, but weakened before the stretch and had little to offer in the stretch. THE DRAKE lacked any speed and never threatened. AURA OF GOLD sprinted clear to a big early lead, opened up down the backstretch, then caved in on the far turn.
