Chart notes
WONDER WORLD veered out at the start, raced four-wide but well off the early pace, found best stride midway through the turn, then swung seven-wide into the stretch and rallied past the entire field and won by a clear margin in the end. MIESHA broke well and was the inside horse in the three-way scramble for he early lead, tried to open up heading into the turn, then was taken on by a pair of rivals approaching the quarter pole, responded when set down at the top of the stretch, but could not hold off the winner in the final yards. OH GLORIOUS DAY got bumped and steadied after the start, advanced on the lead through the turn to bid three-wide approaching the quarter pole, set down with MIESHA at the top of the stretch, was unable to get past that one and had to settle for third. GOOSEBUMPS was slow to begin, moved up under steady handling, saved ground through the turn, and finished up with good interest. MY KINDA PARTY broke in at the start and bumped OH GLORIOUS DAY, was briefly in front, then settled in a stalking position three-wide down the backstretch, briefly bid for the lead passing the three-furlong pole, swung five-wide into the lane and was outfinished in the stretch. COUSIN MINNIE was close to the pace for a quarter mile then struggled to keep on going into the turn, and had nothing to offer late.
