Chart notes
BIGPICLITTLEPIC secured inside position on the first turn, settled just behind the pace through the early stages, then slipped through an opening along the rail near the five-sixteenths marker, took command, and drew off in the stretch. MOR STORMY made the front on the first turn and was left to dictate the pace with a short lead, led the way to the far turn, left the rail open, and was overtaken by BIGPICLITTLEPIC side. was unable to kick on with that one, chased in vain to finish well clear of the next horse. DUO was the early trailer, then produced a grinding finish to outfinish the rest of the field and claim the third prize. HE'S MY BOY broke out at the start and brushed with the outside rival, tracked three-wide and lacked a finish. EMOJI TIME brushed with HE'S MY BOY at the start, stalked the pacesetter while under a pretty snug hold through the first half-mile, weakened midway through the far turn, then had little to offer in the stretch. BALKI BARTOKOMOUS was a bit keen from the start and steadied going into the first turn, raced near the back through the early stages with only one rival behind, struggled to keep up heading into the far turn, then dropped to last and was uninvolved in the late stages.
