Chart notes
CHAD'S FLASH broke in, sprinted to the front, drove clear and won under steady urging. DEWCLAW raced within striking distance, made a bid down the home stretch, couldn't catch the winner, but got up for second. PITCH AND RUN bumped at the start, pressed the pace, raced close throughout and was outfinished for second. THE THIMBLE showed early speed, saved ground around the final turn and faded. GAME AND GORMLEY void of early speed, improved position, but was no factor. NATIVE STAR raced evenly near the back, finished wide and was no threat. TAKEOVER FIFTYFOUR lacked early speed and showed little. BIG TAP BABY raced in the middle of the field, saved ground around the final turn and dropped back.
