Chart notes
E KRACKER had good speed from the start and went a little over a length clear early, fought back when challenged by WILD MARIAH midway on the turn, dueled that rival into the stretch, gained the upper hand inside the sixteenth pole, and held clear to prevail. WINGS OF HEAVEN got off to an awkward start and took up right out of the gate, steadily advanced to gain contention on the turn, bid four-wide into the stretch, finished up well under strong handling and intermittent urging, and moved into second in the final yards. WILD MARIAH ducked outward at the start, then stalked E KRACKER two-wide down the backstretch, moved up on the turn to challenge for the lead near the five-sixteenths marker, found a resurgent rival, dueled through the stretch, then yielded just past the sixteenth pole. MOST ADORABLE brushed with WINGS OF HEAVEN at the break, tracked between rivals down the backstretch, did not immediately respond when asked to go with three furlongs to run, had trouble changing leads, and faltered in the stretch. COUNT ON ME was outrun through the early stages, went evenly late but was never a threat. CHILLVILLE tracked in md-pack along the rail to the turn, then faded to last in the late stages.
