Chart notes
RED IDOL raced within contention, took command around the final turn, pulled away and proved the best. SOPHIE'S PAINTER raced within striking distance, came around the first turn on the outside, proved no match for the winner, but held on for second. THE BOSS SOSS unhurried in the early going, made a late inside bid and was outfinished for second. BAYOU JAM raced evenly near the back in the early part, came around the second turn on the outside, made a wide bid and finished willingly. IRON IN THE FIRE sprinted to the front, drove clear, saved ground and weakened. MUFFIN NUTS always raced near the back and was never close. SLEW CITY HENRY void of early speed and showed little.
