Chart notes
GATSBY coaxed from the gate, showed the way in hand just off the inside and then along the inside, got let out taking the inside route into upper stretch, edged clear under a drive to the eighth pole, held clear to the finish. FORGIVING SPIRIT chased three then two wide under encouragement from three furlongs out, went three wide for home, offered up a mild bid. ENDURING SPIRIT chased two to three wide, got set down three wide into upper stretch, tipped out a path at the three-sixteenths, stayed on one paced to the finish. POWER SEEKER coaxed from the start, chased along the inside under a ride from three furlongs out, spun just off the inside into upper stretch, weakened in the late stages. FUNNY UNCLE four then three wide in pursuit, got ridden along midway on the turn, angled five wide into upper stretch and weakened in the drive. LOST IN ROME broke in a step at the start, chased five then four wide under urging from three furlongs out, tipped five to six wide into upper stretch and tired.
