ADVENTURIST raced in the four path on the first turn, tracked the pace on the outside, was urged along passing the five-eighths pole, chased in the three path on the far turn, lost ground on the leader into upper stretch, kept on in pursuit of that foe into the final furlong, gained into the final sixteenth and got up to prevail. TOGA DAN made light contact with an opponent at the start, was taken in hand early, raced in the three path on the first turn, prompted the pace on the outside, took the lead at the seven-sixteenths pole, vied in the two path on the far turn, was asked coming to the five-sixteenths pole, shook clear under a drive into upper stretch, remained clear into the final sixteenth but was caught while well clear for the place. EGYPTIAN bumped lightly with a foe at the break then was hustled to the front, rounded the first turn in the two path, showed the way on the inside of a foe, lost the lead at the seven-sixteenths pole, was urged along while inside on the far turn, dropped back into upper stretch and tired. ALWAYS BE SMART brushed the outside of the gate at the start, saved ground on the first turn, was rated at the rear, came under urging late on the backstretch, moved from the two path to the four path while ridden along on the far turn, spun into the stretch in the five path and faltered then was eased in the final furlong but walked off.
