JACKSON'S DIXIE coaxed from the gate, pressed the pace of JACKIE THE JOKER along the inside from the two path, took over command near the seven-sixteenths marker, showed the way through the remainder of the turn and got let out spinning just off the inside into upper stretch, drew clear under a drive and was kept to task. ECHO IN ETERNITY coaxed from the start, chased three then two wide, came under coaxing along the inside at the five-sixteenths pole, spun three wide for home, proved no match for the top one, ran on clear of the rest to be along second best. LATEST EDITION four wide in pursuit, came under coaxing near the quarter pole, tipped four to five wide into upper stretch and weakened. JACKIE THE JOKER brushed the off side stall at the start, came under coaxing and cut the pace from the three path under pressure from JACKSON'S DIXIE to the inside, got headed for the front at the seven-sixteenths marker, spun just off the inside into upper stretch and tired. FIRSTLADY ROSALYNN chased five wide down the backstretch and through the turn coming under encouragement at the five-sixteenths pole, tipped six wide into upper stretch, got angled out inside the eighth pole and was placed to a protective hold and pulled up inside the final sixteenth, was vetted and attended to and subsequently walked off under her own power.
