Chart notes
TIZ PURPLE went to the front then showed the way, traveled around the turn in the two path, responded well when asked outside the quarter-pole, came under a right-handed crop outside the furlong marker, switched to a left-handed crop outside the sixteenth-pole and held under strong urging. CHOCOLATECHOCOLATE chased the pace, moved from the two path to the four path on the turn, chased the winner in the stretch and couldn't get by while finishing willingly for the place. SAUCY SIX settled towards the rear, moved out while dropping back late on the backstretch, was roused while shifting from the three path to the five path on the turn and improved for the show. BIG AIR was well placed while coaxed along just off the pace, saved ground while put to stronger encouragement on the turn and lacked the needed kick. THAT'S FUNNY settled at the rear, saved ground while roused on the turn, moved to the two path outside the quarter-pole, angled out outside the furlong marker and failed to threaten. PERUGIA stood in the gate and was off slow, spotted the front a few lengths, moved up on the outside under urging, made a bid near the nine-sixteenths pole, vied in the three path on the turn and tired.
