Chart notes
TOTAL VAL reserved in the early going and moved inside, was forced to take up by LILO LIL early on the clubhouse turn, angled five wide around the far turn, closed in to challenge with a sixteenth remaining and outkicked RAMAYANA in the end. RAMAYANA stalked in the two path, chased between rivals on the far turn and had to pause when boxed in at the quarter pole, lacked room again with a furlong remaining, found room between foes and launched a bid but got outkicked by TOTAL VAL late. CHAIR'S COIN (IRE) sat off the pace three then two wide outside a rival, moved out three deep in the middle stages, gained three then four wide around the far turn, challenged in upper stretch but got outkicked by the top pair. SOUL SISTER tracked outside a pair of rivals, drew closer leaving the backstretch, took aim three wide turning for home, bid in upper stretch, took over midstretch but faltered in the last sixteenth. LILO LIL was rank prior to the first turn, angled to the inside racing near the back, traveled between runners on the backstretch, asked three wide on the far turn, angled out in the lane and summoned a mild rally. CHANNEL PLACE dueled into the first turn then cleared around the bend, led unchallenged to the top of the lane, collared by SOUL SISTER at the eighth pole, relinquished the lead shortly after and weakened in deep stretch. HEAVENLY BELLE stalked along the rail, cut the corner into the lane, lacked room next to the fence and weakened deep stretch. SPRINGLINE unhurried in the early going and steered to the rail, saved ground around the far turn as well, tipped three wide into the lane and improved position. HAWAIIAN MOON tracked the pace from the rail, suffered a mild shuffle on the far turn then became a bit rank at the quarter pole, remained inside to the lane, steered out at the eighth pole and could not threaten. SURFIN' U. S. A. pulled between rivals early, got shuffled a bit behind a rival with three furlongs remaining, chased two wide into the lane and lacked a rally. SPECIALTY raced outside a rival toward the back of the pack, three deep on the backstretch, entered the lane four wide and proved no menace. CHERRY CIDER dueled from outside into the first turn then took a stalking position around the bend, was closest in pursuit of the leader to the quarter pole, chased between rivals into the lane and weakened.
