PREVENT showed the way while three to two wide into the first turn while clear and dawdling along under a strong hold, then dropped to the inside entering the far turn and repelled bids nearing the quarter pole and shook clear leaving the turn and then kept PRIVATE THOUGHTS safe late to prove best under a drive. PRIVATE THOUGHTS was rated along on the outside under a strong hold, made a three to four wide bid nearing the quarter pole, continued that bid into the final furlong but could not get to the winner and had to settle for second best. BRAWN tracked the leader under a good hold and made a three wide bid nearing the quarter pole but flattened out while staying on for the show award. CLASSIC OF COURSE was four wide into the first turn, moved in entering the backstretch and was two wide on the far turn and had a belated rally towards the inside. MACKENZIE'S NOVVA chased the pace along the inside and tired in the lane. MAYNARD was reserved early on the inside on the first turn, moved out entering the backstretch and was three to four wide on the far turn and did not threaten.
