Chart notes
LUFKIN saved ground in range early, was shuffled back entering the far turn, angled four wide near the five-sixteenths marker, surged outside and was up in the final strides. BUCK'S HOWL saved ground off the pace early, angled out early on the backstretch, launched a three wide bid around the far turn, took command near the five-sixteenths marker, drew clear in midstretch and led until the final strides. GRANDE NOVELLA steadied along two wide between foes for the opening half, chased two wide around the far turn, tipped four wide in upper stretch and rallied for the show. RUNNIN ON prompted the pace three wide, bid between foes midway around the far turn but was outkicked in the lane. ITALIAN WINE set the pace in the two path and weakened in the drive. ROUX BUCHERRO pressed the pace in the three path around the first turn, could not match strides down the backstretch, angled in approaching the far turn and retreated inside. MO FINDS bolted, was eased and walked off.
