Chart notes
LITTLE TO NO MONEY sent for the early lead, crossed over a path along the backstretch run then disputed the pace outside of GIFTED VALOR heading into the turn, dueled that rival through decent fractions nearing the quarter marker, battled to mid-stretch, shook free of GIFTED VALOR into the final sixteenth and kept to task in deep stretch to prevail. MAESTRO ITALIANO tracked the early pace from between rivals, was caught a bit in tight along the backstretch then shifted to the three path approaching the turn, tracked the leading pair heading to the quarter marker, rallied two wide into the stretch, finished well but could not reel in the winner in deep stretch and was up in time for second. GIFTED VALOR showed good speed away from the start, pressed the early pace from the inside then dueled LITTLE TO NO MONEY into the turn, disputed the decent pace to the quarter marker, drifted out a bit to upper stretch then battled to the furlong grounds, yielded in the final sixteenth and was outfinished late for second. MONSTER MATT broke a bit slowly and trailed in the early stages, saved ground into the turn and advanced nearing the quarter marker, rallied along the rail into the stretch, finished well but could not reel in the leaders in deep stretch. NITRO BOOST broke alertly then took back off of the early pace, shifted to the two path heading into the turn and tracked the leading pair approaching the quarter pole, chased three wide to upper stretch, rallied four deep into the final furlong, came on late but could not reel in the leaders. AL'S BIG BOY settled off of the early pace, was coaxed two then three wide nearing the quarter pole, made a mild bid into the stretch but needed more late. POLO LOCO was forwardly placed early on while between rivals, got shuffled back a bit along the backstretch turn then chased four wide to the turn, could not keep pace nearing the quarter marker and tired in the drive. THE JOCKEY ON MAESTRO ITALIANO LODGED AN OBJECTION AGAINST THE JOCKEY OF LITTLE TO NO MONEY, CLAIMING INTERFERENCE ALONG THE BACKSTRETCH. THE STEWARDS ACKNOWLEDGED THAT WHILE LITTLE TO NO MONEY CROSSED OVER IN FRONT OF MAESTRO ITALIANO ALONG THE BACKSTRETCH, THE INCIDENT DID NOT WARRANT A DISQUALIFICATION, AND THERE WOULD BE NO CHANGE.
