Chart notes
CODE BREAKER settled off of the early pace while never far back, was coaxed four then three wide nearing the quarter pole, rallied into the stretch then responded well into the final furlong, was full of run to the final sixteenth, surged in deep stretch and got up in time. R BARRACUDA hopped at the start and was off a step slowly, was hustled in the early going and went up to dispute the pace outside of ITS PALADIN TIME heading to the turn, dueled that rival through decent fractions approaching the quarter pole, shook free into the stretch then kicked clear into the final furlong, was all out to hold off CODE BREAKER in deep stretch and was nailed on the wire for the win, while besting the rest. RIDING BY broke in then was forced out at the start and was off slowly, recovered and tracked the early pace four deep, chased the leading pair into the turn and was well placed while two wide nearing the quarter marker, ran in pursuit into the stretch, was outkicked in the late stages and was clear for third. TAZ MARKING away in good order, tracked the early pace from the inside, saved ground into the turn, chased from the inside to the quarter pole then swung to three path to upper stretch, could not find more into the final furlong and flattened out late. DINERO DE LA CASA broke slowly and lacked early speed, trailed to the turn then was coaxed three wide to the quarter marker, chased into the stretch, needed more in the final stages and finished evenly. HOT GOBLIN raced close up to the early pace while between rivals, chased two wide into the turn, ran in pursuit three then four wide into the stretch, could not find more at the furlong grounds and gave way. ITS PALADIN TIME was a bit antsy in the gate, veered out at the start and bothered a pair of outer rivals leaving the break, showed good early speed and vied for the lead along the backstretch, dueled inside of R BARRACUDA into the turn, lost position into upper stretch, could not keep pace at the furlong pole and tired late. RED MEMORYS was forwardly placed in the early stages, got caught in tight and between foes approaching the turn, chased three wide into the bend, was outrun to the quarter pole and came up empty in the stretch drive.
