STOP AND A TRES broke alertly then ceded the early lead, was well placed to the first turn, saved ground while tracking the pace along the backstretch run, mounted a two then three wide bid nearing the top of the stretch, chased the stubborn NOLONGERAHOBBY into the final furlong, overtook that rival in deep stretch and edged clear late. NOLONGERAHOBBY was forwardly placed to the first turn, stalked the solid pace three wide to the backstretch, was well placed to the half-mile pole then vied for the lead three deep into the far turn, took command at the quarter pole and led to upper stretch, dug in and led to the final sixteenth, was overtaken by the winner in deep stretch and was a clear second best. FORT LANGLEY settled while a bit wide to the first turn, was unhurried along the backstretch then roused into the far turn, swung four to five wide to upper stretch and closed well into the final furlong, could not impact the top pair late but was clear at the wire for third. ANNA'S IRON MAN showed good early speed and stalked the pace into the first turn, attended to the solid pace along the backstretch run, vied between rivals into the far turn, chased from the inside into upper stretch, could not find more to the final sixteenth and weakened late. MR INSENSITIVE got bumped at the start and broke a bit slowly, settled to the first turn then made a steady gain to the backstretch, chased into the far turn and was asked for run three to four wide to upper stretch, chased into the final furlong and flattened out late. DIXON TUFF got shuffled back into the first turn, settled while saving ground heading into the backstretch run, was unhurried to the half-mile, coaxed two to three wide to the quarter pole then angled out for the stretch drive, needed more late but improved position in the final stages. EMPEROROFTHENORTH broke in the air at the start and was off slowly, rushed up into the first turn then tracked the pace three wide into the backstretch, was well placed to the far turn, chased four wide to upper stretch and tired in the lane. HARBOR THUNDER settled to the first turn, was coaxed along two wide to the half-mile pole, roused four wide along the far turn, lacked the needed response in the stretch and did not factor late. CLEAR THE COAST hustled leaving the start, assumed command into the first turn then set the pace to the backstretch run, carved out a solid pace to the half-mile point, came under pressure then was overtaken into the far turn, could not find more into the stretch and faltered in the late stages. HADLEES HONOR settled in the second flight and between rivals, was never far back while saving ground along the backstretch, maintained an inside path to the far turn, lacked the needed response into upper stretch then came up empty late.
