Chart notes
MARINAS TINA (IRE) broke well and made the lead into the first turn, then was left to dictate the pace under only moderate pressure from INEXPRESS through the early stages, quickened away late on the turn, turned for home with a clear lead, then held clear under steady handling, widening the margin a bit in the late stages. DUTTON STREET GIRL tracked in third position along the rail through the early stages, came off the rail at the top of the stretch, was unable to threaten the winner but finished well to be a clear second. ISLAND JIVE settled two-wide near the back, went evenly throughout but lacked a late kick. NEPHELE settled inside at the back, then lacked a finish. INXPRESS pressed the pace two-deep, then was unable to go on with the leader late on the turn, had trouble changing leads in upper stretch, and faltered. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
