Chart notes
DANEYKO was in a bit tight after the start, then settled along the rail down the backstretch with the third pair, bided time while boxed in through the far turn, angled out to the four path turning into the stretch, then finished strong to get up in the final yards. NEED THE PURSE was fractious in the gate, then broke outward while being hustled aggressively from the break, dueled with FORZA ROAD from the outset, turned for home with the lead, finished strong, but could not hold off the winner in the last jumps. FORZA ROAD was sent hard from the start, dueled with NEED THE PURSE, and finished evenly to hold third. MO GREY tracked the leaders two-wide in the second flight, then did not respond when asked to quicken in the stretch. GIFTED VALOR tracked inside just behind the pacesetters, then was outkicked in the stretch. AL'S BIG BOY was not asked for speed from the break, went three wide through the first turn despite the rail being open, was far, far back through the early stages, and never a factor. ARIZONA MOON RISE got squeezed a bit after the break, raced two-wide with the third pair, then went flat in the stretch and finished one-paced. BLACK PEARL broke a bit awkwardly, then was devoid of speed, dropped far behind, and showed little. TAKE A CHANCE INDY was distanced and not persevered with while hopelessly behind. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time. Copyright 2026 Equibase Company LLC. All Rights Reserved.
