Chart notes

RAVI rated nicely while just off of the early pace, tracked from the inside into the turn then angled out nearing the top of the lane, rallied three wide to upper stretch, overtook WHISKEY ALLEY into the final sixteenth and drew clear late. WHISKEY ALLEY broke a step slowly but recovered in the early stages, tracked the pace between foes along the backstretch run, bid into the turn then took command to upper stretch, led into the lane then was all out to hold off RAVI past mid-stretch, was outfinished in the final sixteenth and was a clear second. STONECOLDHANDSOME hustled for the early lead, assumed command and set the pace to the turn, was overtaken nearing the quarter marker, yielded to the top pair in the stretch but stayed on late to earn the show honors. COACH KRIV hopped at the start and was off slowly, settled and trailed in the early stages, saved ground into the turn, coaxed two wide for the stretch drive, could not reel in the leaders into the final sixteenth but was able to improve position late. MY GEMSTONE raced close up to the early pace, chased three then two wide into the turn, lost position at the quarter marker and weakened in the drive. TUXEDO KNIGHT took back off of the early pace, coaxed three wide to upper stretch and did not factor in the drive. CONSTANTINE got squeezed at the start and was off slowly, was unhurried to the turn, swung widest to upper stretch and did not threaten in the drive. PERGAMON broke a step slowly, settled while not far back in the early stages, saved ground to the turn, was outrun to the quarter marker and did not offer a late response. PREMIER PRINCE broke alertly and contested the early pace from the outside, chased three wide to the turn, stopped nearing the quarter marker, was eased through the stretch and walked off.
