Chart notes
MEGA CHANGER broke out and bothered an outer rival at the start, showed early speed and assumed command to the first turn, set modest fractions while well handled along the backstretch, controlled the pace to the far turn, kept to task into the stretch and was geared down late while much the best. DIAMONDINTHESAND got squeezed then took up at the start, settled off of the early pace, advanced between rivals along the backstretch, bid three wide into the far turn, chased MEGA CHANGER into the stretch, was no match late for the winner and was a clear second best. SPICE GAL settled in the second flight, tracked the pace between rivals along the backstretch run, chased from the inside into upper stretch, was outkicked in the drive but was clear of the rest for third. POOR MANS LADY settled to the first turn, picked off rivals while saving ground heading into the far turn, angled three to four wide to upper stretch, could not impact the leaders in the late stages but stayed on late to improve position. CASHPOINT was prominent while three deep to the first turn, tracked the pacesetter along the backstretch, chased three wide into the far turn, lost position into upper stretch and weakened in the lane. HOLY HIPPIE was forwardly placed in the early running, saved ground to the first turn and stalked the modest pace from the inside, chased into the far turn, could not keep pace nearing the quarter pole and came up empty in the drive. A WEEK WITH GRAMMY settled to the first turn, advanced outside of rivals along the backstretch, coaxed three wide into the far turn, could not find the needed response into the stretch and did not threaten late. MINE COMPLETELY got bumped at the start and was off slowly, settled to the first turn, was unhurried along the backstretch and did not factor in the late stages. WITH EVERY DREAM settled while saving ground in the early running, could not keep pace heading into the far turn, was eased through the stretch and walked off. THE JOCKEY ON DIAMONDINTHESAND LODGED AN OBJECTION AGAINST THE JOCKEY ON MEGA CHANGER, CLAIMING INTERFERENCE AT THE START. THE STEWARDS DETERMINED MEGA CHANGER IMPEDED DIAMONDINTHESAND AT THE START, AND COST DIAMONDINTHESAND THE OPPORTUNITY OF A BETTER PLACING. MEGA CHANGER WAS DISQUALIFIED FROM FIRST AND PLACED SECOND.
