RAMAYANA sat off the pace three deep, went two to three wide around the second bend, cut in some entering the lane, steered back out in upper stretch, rallied outside the leaders into deep stretch and drove clear. IMPROBABLE U followed in range on the inside, eased over to the two path on the far turn, put a head in front at the eighth pole, yielded to the winner in the final sixteenth and held second. CHAIR'S COIN (IRE) settled along the inside then in the two path near the back of the pack, advanced three then four wide on the far turn, challenged in upper stretch but was outkicked by the top pair. LUCKIEST tracked in the two path around the first turn, saved ground on the second bend, ran into traffic and had to steady in upper stretch, split foes shortly after and kept on to round out the superfecta. ISLAND HOME chased between runners early then angled to the inside, hugged the rail to the stretch, steered out with a furlong remaining and lacked a late bid. SPLIT pulled and had to take up behind a rival prior to the first turn, chased from the two path, swung out approaching the stretch and needed to find more. PHOTOGENIC vied for the lead from inside to the first turn then took control around the bend, set all the pace to the stretch, drifted off the fence in upper stretch, lost command at the eighth pole and weakened in deep stretch. SPRINGLINE fought between rivals for the lead, bumped with outer rival on the first turn and took a stalking position in the two path then moved inside, challenged from the fence in upper stretch but flattened out. AUTHENTICALLY pulled and checked early, traveled inside a rival at the back up the backstretch, had a lot of work to do turning for home and passed tired rivals in the lane. HEAVENLY BELLE showed early speed three deep between rivals into the first turn, got pinballed racing around bend, raced keenly in hand around the bend between rivals, asked in the three path on the far turn, brushed with ANGEL BABY in upper stretch and weakened. ANGEL BABY vied four deep into the first turn, got bumped running around the bend, was closest in pursuit outside a rival or off the rail on the backstretch, spun three wide ino the lane, brushed with outer rival shortly after and faded. IBIZA FLAVOR pulled early at the back when reserved, trailed outside a rival up the backstretch and far turn and never got involved.
