Chart notes
THE SHOE LADY raced forwardly while outside of rivals in the early stages, stalked the pace to the far turn then took command nearing the quarter marker, kept to task under steady handling into the stretch and held sway to the wire. SHIELDMEWITHPRAYER settled just off of the early pace, tracked three wide and between foes along the backstretch, bid between rivals into the far turn then gained ground into the stretch, was repelled into the final sixteenth but held well late for second. BEAUTIFUL MANDATE settled to the first turn, tracked the pace while widest up the backstretch, roused four wide into the far turn, flattened out in the lane and was outkicked for second in deep stretch, while clear of the rest for third. SACRED CONNECTION settled to the first turn then was reserved through the backstretch run, roused four to five wide nearing the quarter marker, swung five to six wide to upper stretch, could not find the needed response in the lane but improved position late. DIVINE FASHION assumed early command and set the pace to the backstretch, led to the far turn then was overtaken nearing the quarter pole, could not keep pace to upper stretch and weakened in the drive. MALICED broke alertly then ceded the early lead, tracked the pace while saving ground into the backstretch, lacked the needed response at the quarter pole then gave way in the stretch. HEART LIGHT unhurried in the early stages, trailed to the far turn and lacked a response in the stretch, was injured and pulled up past the wire and was transported off of the course via the equine ambulance.
