Chart notes
PRIVATE EQUITY stalked the leader on the outside up the backstretch, continued around the turn in the two path, kicked clear in upper stretch and held off a late closer. GIMME A WHO raced off the pace on the inside early, came around the bend in the three path, launched a bid entering the stretch and gained ground steadily to the wire to narrowly miss. GREEN IS THE DADDY pressed the pace on the inside up the backstretch, saved ground around the turn and weakened in the final furlong. RAIL RUNNER brushed with the horse to his inside at the start, raced off the pace through the opening stages, navigated the turn from the four path and never threatened. SHINY SHORES led the way between horses up the backstretch, continued around the turn in the two path and tired in the lane. SUNSHINE LUTE raced in the middle of the pack up the backstretch, swung out to the five path coming around the bend and was empty in the stretch.
