Chart notes
CORMAN hustted from the start and made the early lead, maintained a slight advantage through the early stages, then responded when set down at the top of the stretch, and held safe under steady handling to the wire. LAST U TURN broke well and pressed CORMAN in the two path, kept trying to the finish but was unable to get past the rival. A LA CARTE was a bit slow to get started and unable to hold early position, shifted out to the three or four path for the run down the backstretch, then ran on some late to take the third prize. GREEWHIZ raced three-wide close to the pace, finished with some interest but could not find the winning late kick. BRIGHT CHARGER tracked along the rail in mid-pack, then tipped out to the four-path in the stretch, but was not doing enough to threaten. ALPHA BLUE was a bit slow out into stride, lost the path, then went to the outside of the pack for the run down the backstretch, then lacked a finish in the late stages. P R CALL ME MAYBE saved ground but trailed while under a ride from the outset.
