TALL GIRL had to be pushed to keep pace early, but got into a good rhythm into the turn, took command passing the three-furlong marker, was confidently ridden to the top of the stretch, then drew away under steady handling and urging. ECHO SEVEN hustled away from the gate to take the early lead, then was joined by PRINCESS HALIME and dueled that rival into the turn, had no answer when TALL GIRL took the lead with three furlongs to run, but was kept to task and finished up well to take the second prize. PRINCESS HALIME rushed up after a bit of a tardy start to duel early with ECHO SEVEN, kept on well after TALL GIRL took over the lead, briefly held the second position in mid-stretch, weakened a bit late, but was able to save the minor award. RIGHT TRAPPE was away well, tracked close up four-wide down the backstretch, loomed three-wide passing the quarter pole, came six-wide into the stretch, and finished willingly but was not quite doing enough to pose a threat. TIZZY JOJO raced in the middle of the pack, then finished evenly. MAGICGIRL was outrun early and last past the half-mile pole, finished with some interest in the stretch. LUCKY PHOENIX was allowed to settle, then raced at the back of the second flight, lost ground going into the turn, tried to re-bid under a ride, but finished one-paced through the stretch and was unable to threaten. LUCKYHOTSTUFF was slow into stride, then rushed up under urging to track behind the leaders to the turn while under a ride, weakened midway through the turn, and had little to offer in the stretch while flopping leads. LIGHT HEARTED chased throughout.
