Chart notes
DJOSER hustled to be forwardly placed while three wide early on, took command into the backstretch run, set the pace to the far turn, held off foes to upper stretch and drew clear nearing the furlong marker, kept to task in the late stages and held safely for the win. KAZAMATAZ broke out at the start then rated off of the early pace, saved ground to the backstretch, was roused into the far turn and swung three to four wide to upper stretch, chased DJOSER to the final sixteenth, rallied late but could not reel in the winner and got up in time for second. JIMMY B sent leaving the start, vied for the early lead from the inside, contested the pace to the backstretch then stalked DJOSER heading to the far turn, mounted a bid at the quarter marker then had that bid repelled into upper stretch, ran on in the lane and was outkicked for second. FLEET BROTATO got shuffled back a bit in the early stages and settled to the first turn, was coaxed two then three wide along the backstretch run, swung widest while being floated out into upper stretch, closed in the late stages but needed more in deep stretch. VERDI vied for the early lead from between foes, took back into the first turn then tracked the pace along the backstretch run, chased between rivals into the far turn, kept on into the stretch but did not offer the needed late response. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
