Chart notes
PET MAT was well rated on the outside in the clear and made a four wide bid by the five sixteenths and hit the front nearing the furlong marker and drew off under left handed crop urging. GALLANT KNIGHT vied for the lead outside a duo and made a three wide bid by the five sixteenths marker and fought on to the furlong marker but proved to be no match for the winner while clearly second best. SAYBROOK vied for the lead on the inside and weakened in the drive while staying on to best the rest. GOLDEN SKULL was bumped at the break, settled along the inside and was roused leaving the five sixteenths to keep up, angled out in the lane but had no late kick. ROLLING ON was bumped at the start, vied for the lead in between rivals to the quarter pole and weakened. AMOR LEJANO (ARG) bumped with a rival at the start and trailed early on the inside, was motivated by the half mile marker and then again on the turn while on the inside but had no response.
