Chart notes
VALID SENSE settled off the pace three wide, split rivals five wide in upper stretch, closed outside, took over near the sixteenth pole and edged ahead under a drive. LAMCARO tracked the pace two wide, bid three wide nearing the quarter pole, took the lead turning for home, led to the sixteenth marker and held on for the place. LAST RUN bumped at the start, saved ground off the pace, angled out in upper stretch and rallied for the show. MCMULLEN chased the pace four and five wide, bid outside of the winner in upper stretch but was one-paced through the final furlong. LEIGH'S LAST HERO raced off the pace three wide and rallied belatedly. TRICKY TIGER trailed inside, angled out in upper stretch and improved position. LOUD APPLAUSE pressed the pace three wide, led late on the turn and tired in the drive. IDENTITY CRISIS was bumped between foes at the start, vied two wide and wilted in the lane. LOVE HATE bumped at the start, vied inside and retreated through the stretch.
