MAGOO was hustled out of the gate and went to the lead with MOESAHANDFUL and NOLONGERAHOBBY keeping close attendance, raced well off the rail, leaving the room to the inside, both foes took advantage entering the far turn, re-engaged with the latter through the turn, then got clear in upper stretch and drew off under strong handling and urging. KEEP IT COMING did not contest the early pace, settled mid-pack not far from the front, took a three-wide path through the far turn, chased the leading pair under a drive, and outfinished the rest of the field to earn the place. SHASHASHAKEMEUP was away awkwardly, settled in mid-pack along the inside, moved closer late on the backstretch run, then came under a ride passing the three-furlong pole, was not getting to the winner but kept on under strong handling and urging to gain third. RIDIN SOLO was a bit slow into stride, then went three-to-four wide around the clubhouse turn, settled in the back half of the field racing four-wide, started to run on from the five-sixteenths marker, was kept to task, and managed to improve in the final yards. NOLONGERAHOBBY pressed the early pace, then went to challenge MAGOO for the lead going into the turn, dueled that foe through the turn, then could not keep up through the stretch, and weakened in the stretch. HARBOR THUNDER was the distant trailer to the stretch, then passed a couple of tired foes in the late stages. MOESAHANDFUL raced close up behind MAGOO through the first half-mile, then bid up the rail for the lead along with a rival near the seven-sixteenths marker, but weakened passing the three-furlong pole, and tired in the stretch. RULER OF ANGELS came away well but was caught four-wide into the first turn, tracked close up for a half-mile, then steadily retreated through the turn and came up empty in the stretch.
