Chart notes
UNPREDICTABLE BAY was the trailer to the turn, but never far back, launched a bid leaving the three-furlong pole, swung four-wide into the stretch, and finished up well to be along in time to claim the top prize. BOUDIN tracked just off the pace three-wide with the forward trio, responded when asked to go on at the five-sixteenths marker, finished well but was outfinished by the winner. DON'T CROSS JACK was hustled from the start and made the early running with the rest in close pursuit. maintained the margin through the turn and into the stretch, dug in gamely when challenged, but was outfinished in the final furlong. DREAM KNIGHT tracked three-wide not far off the pace, and finished evenly. MSHINDI was never far back, was behind horses for most of the trip, finished with good interest and gave a good effort, but came up short. ROYAL CURLIN tracked close up on the inside, kept on well and was still with a chance in deep stretch but could not generate a winning late kick.
