Chart notes
TAKEN BY THE WIND took command on the inside to set a relaxed pace, entered the stretch under immense pressure from both sides, dug in to hold on to the victory. LUV YOUR NEIGHBOR pressed the pace three wide, just held off by the winner for a gamely finish. ATROPA tracked the pace from the inside, moved up at the quarter press the pace down the stretch but was out-finished by opponents. PASHMINA tracked the pace four wide, made no bid, finished relatively evenly. DANCIN IN OLD TOWN trailed for most, closed willingly five wide down the stretch but was only able to gain a single position. WHITE SMOKE broke a step slow, moved up into tight quarters after the first turn, backed off before the far turn, trailed in the final furlong.
