Chart notes
KUPUNA settled off the pace, made some progress three wide in the far turn before committing to a six wide bid at the quarter, edged clear in the final sixteenth. LAGYNOS tracked the early pace three wide, moved up through the far turn to enter the stretch in a duel with THEISMANN, claimed a very brief lead at the eighth before giving way to the winner. CAMEO PERFORMANCE settled off the pace, slowly closed along the inside to enter the stretch just behind the pace, began driving through an inside gap that opened up at the eighth but needed a bit more. SAND PIPES tracked the pace from the inside, tipped out three wide in the stretch but was out-finished. REAGAN'S WIT was unhurried to be the early trailer, rallied well along the outside of the stretch for a respectable finish. THEISMANN showed good early speed, was challenged in the upper stretch, faded in the final furlong. IDRATHERBEBLESSED was fractious in the gate, raced along the inside a few lengths behind the pace, looked to make a four wide bid in the far turn but came up empty. GIGANTE raced off the pace, passed tiring foes along the inside. POINT PROVEN found position around the middle of the pack, failed to respond in the stretch. VOTE NO stalked the early pace, retreated in the stretch. OTAGO raced off the pace between rivals, trailed in the final furlong.
